Special Session on FPGA Technologies for Adaptive Computing (FTAC 2021)

IEEE 14th International Symposium on Embedded Multicore/Many-core Systems-on-Chip (MCSoC 2021)
Singapore University of Technology and Design, Singapore
December 20-23, 2021

Abstract

This special session aims to discuss novel ideas and methodologies of FPGA technologies for adaptive computing. As the attention to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) have been grown, the needs for highly efficient computing systems and architectures have also been increasing. FPGA technologies are one of the promising schemes for highly efficient adaptive computing systems, where a specific computation is done by hardware accelerators, with a much shorter time and much smaller energy consumption.
